Ann Ruddy born in 1965 is a Scottish painter living in the Highland Perthshire area where the dramatic landscapes and ever changing weather influences her work.
Brought up in Lochaber Ann’s work is heavily influenced by the stormy weather showing beauty in its most terrible form. Her contemporary life paintings are taken from studies in her life drawing classes.
Ann studied Graphic Design at Edinburgh College specialising in Screen Printing and has exhibited in many Open Exhibitions throughout Scotland and is frequently shown in galleries throughout the Scottish Highlands. Ann currently runs a life drawing class in Perthshire and is still chasing clouds.
