From a small workshop in rural Perthshire, Ceri White produces a confectionery of richly patterned, contemporary ceramics for the home. Ceri specialises in hand-thrown planters, along-side which she has developed a range of similarly-styled spice pots, spoons and most recently, quirky bottle vases and ring cones. Every piece is unique and made using traditional pottery techniques, from the ball of clay, through various decorating processes and two kiln firings, to the finished piece.
Ceri is art school trained and continues to be influenced by a 1970’s suburban upbringing, a lifetime habit of doodling, a fascination with microscopic cell biology and a love and understanding of colour.
