Helen Forrest

Helen Forrest is an artist based in North East Scotland.  Helen has always painted and paints from the heart.  For her painting is like a visual diary.  Her work is a result of her individual story, quirks, techniques and way of seeing things. Her deep love of life and her reflective nature shines through in her work.

Helen’s subject matter ranges from quirky portraiture to intuitive land and seascapes.  She takes inspiration from the Scottish coast and countryside and changing light of the North East.  Her expressive paintings reflect the ever changing mood of both the countryside and the artist herself. Helen is constantly challenging her creativity and exploring new ideas.
