Jill Mackenzie has worked for the last 10 years from her studio in the North East of Scotland. With easy access to the coast and surrounding hills, she creates her interpretation of an image, utilising mixed media, including collage, ink, acrylic paint and pastels.
Art has always been an important part of life, so upon retiring in 2012, it seemed natural to study Fine Art at Moray School of Art. Since then she has been largely self taught, gaining information from other artists, collecting ideas and experimenting. These have culminated in the paintings of today.
