Kathleen studied art at Gray’s in her late teens and after a spell living abroad and then in England she returned to live in the North East of Scotland and has stayed there ever since.
She is largely self taught in watercolours and acrylics and revels in the colours of the countryside around Aberdeen and Deeside, always striving to use local colour in a lively way.
She regularly exhibits in Larks Gallery, Ballater, Milton Gallery Crathes, Heinzel Gallery , Aberdeen , Gallery at Fifty Five , Stonehaven and Southside Gallery ,Glasgow as well as supporting local exhibitions whenever she can.
Her work hangs in private collections all over Scotland and England, France, Germany,Australia, Canada and America.
